I sometimes think God wants to throw away the world with all the corruption. And the angel is most willing to help as she still has her innocence.
Girl on rock holding globe by One sky texture by One sky texture by Two brushes by avh (had these a long time - no link) And lightening and lighting from filter effects.
What a fantastic concept and very well expressed in your piece!
-- Luke 12:24 Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?
One can see many things in this thoughtful and powerful image. I see the child as representing the innocence and foolishness of mankind in allowing the world to be tossed away through all corruption and violations of natural law. The lightning is a good metaphor for the coming ecological disasters we will witness. The darkly clouded sky represents little hope for the future. It's very well done, well thought out.

There are only two ways of spreading light - to be the candle or the mirror that reflects it. - Edith Wharton
There are a lot of themes that run through the stock gallery many people have similar ideas but they pull them off in different ways. In this series of newsletters we will look at similar ideas but different outcomes.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
